Meds and therapy: Have you had good therapy to address any underlying issues or things which happened before or during your period of drug use? Is your dose of medication at the right level? Too high or side effects might make you feel off too, or if there are other issues like anxiety or depression. It sounds like the constipation could be related to medication. You should get a good reassessment.

Congratulations on : Ur 2 yrs abstinence from abused opiates! That's a tremendous accomplishment! It sounds important that you try to get to the root of whats causing u 2 not feel "normal" or back to urself. Many ppl who become addicted early in life, rnt sure what "normal" feels like, as they've spent + time using; others may feel guilt; others may have untreated psych illness. Talk w ur doc, & don't give up!
