Recheck: The antibiotic is not working so he needs to be rechecked. He could have mono as well strep depending on his age.

? how diagnosed ?: The majority of sore throats in kids are not strep, but one of many viruses. Strep can also be present in a throat and not be the cause of the illness.If the label was applied without any strep test, chances are you are dealing with something else.Even with a positive strep test, something else can be involved.A recheck is worthwhile.
