My doctor did a strep test and it was positive. is it possible to have a runny nose and cough with strep or is it something else?

Strep: Yes its possible to have a runny nose and cough with strep (which is probably why you went to the doctor in the first place. If the test is positive why are you looking fo an alternate answer. The simplest answer is usually (but not always) the correct one. As an aside, stop smoking. You are paying a corporation to kill you slowly.
