Swabbed for strep and it came back positive, its also accompanied with sneezing, runny nose and a dry cough. is it possible to have strep& a cold?

Yes: There is nothing to preclude a bacterial and viral infection occurring together. Make sure to take all the medication prescribed for your strep throat.
