ESR: The erythrocyte sedimentation rate is a non-specific measure of inflammation. A high number of WBC can either be due to dehydration, a secondary increase in RBC from another condition or a primary condition (erythrocytosis). This can only be interpreted in the context of your clinical condition and cannot be assessed solely as a lab value. Chat with your doctor. Best wishes.
