My son had a throat infection nearly 3 weeks ago and went for bloods 3 days ago his esr was raised but all over bloods was ok, what could cause this?

Normal: Increased esr should happen with any infection and usually takes 2-6 weeks to return to normal

Sed Rate: A sed rate is a nonspecific test for inflammation of various types If otherwise improving, I would not be concerned about it.
