Probably not thrush: Thrush can cause an uncomfortable tongue and mouth but there are many causes of burning tongue from endocrinologic issues, chronic inflammatory conditions, tobacco, medications and toxins. You should arrange follow up with your MD since the treatment already prescribed is not making an impact
