Nosebleeds: She may have a blood vessel close to the nostril surface. Advise her not to pick her nose. Avoid NSAIDS like Ibuprofen or aspirin. If she is an adult, it could be a sign of high blood pressure, will need to be checked out. Also blood vessel may need to be cauterized.

Nose bleeds: 20-30 minutes sounds like a, long time for a nose bleed to last. If it happens again, spray Afrin nasal spray into her nose. That should shrink the blood vessels and make it easier to stop the bleeding. Then apply pressure to clamp and nose and tilt your head forward. You can also apply ice. Seeing an ENT doctor for evaluation and treatment would be the next step.
