Can someone tell me how safe is the norpramin (desipramine) medication?

Norpramine: A tricyclic antidepressant, it has been used for many years. Is better tolerated than other tricyclics due to less sedation & effects on GI tract & minimum drying effect. As long as dose is therapeutic, it is safe.
