Mouth sore: We swallow between 2-3,000 times a day. This action alone could be enough to make your tongue sore as i rubs against the broken tooth. In addition , when speaking and eating, the tongue will come in contact with the irritation. See your dentist to evaluate and treat as needed.

Of course: The fact is that sharp, chipped or broken teeth could irritate the tongue and create tongue ulcers. See your dentist for consultation.
