Can emg testing be done in the neck and the arms? i have numbness in the neck? please help

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Electromyography: Nerve conduction studies (NCS) and electromyography (EMG) are tests done to evaluate the cervical spine (the neck) and the nerves it sends to the arms. The NCS evaluate how quickly and completely each nerve studied transmits impulses. Diseases of the nerves and damage to nerves are assessed. EMG evaluates the connections between the nerves and muscles. Speak to your doctor regarding EMG for you
