Non-specific marker: The LDH test is a non specific marker of inflammation in the body.The enzyme originates from several defined sites, including liver, blood, lungs, kidneys, muscle, etc and a further test could define which area is involved. If your kid has had a vague flu like illness with muscle pains, this may be within the expected findings of the doc. A followup test should show recovery
