You need to protect: nerve from further injury, by wearing protective pad and adjusting position of your elbow against your desk while you study. If it persists, you need to see a neurologist to make sure that you have no underlying nerve disorder.

Generic advice: Avoid leaning on your elbow, or bumping your elbow. A B-100 complex might add some support. An anti-inflammatory such as Aleve (naproxen) or Ibuprofen might blunt the inflammation. Minor nerve pinching could reverse within a few weeks, but deeper damage may take months. If does not depart or gets worse, may need to have an EMG test.
