A member asked:

42 year old woman. high bp in the past, but now under control with meds. i have a lot of ringing in my ears. is this normal when bp is under control?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ears ringing: Ringing in the ear or tinnitus is probably not related to the BP, specially when it is well controlled. Medications like high doses of Aspirin and certain ear disorders can cause tinnitus. Many times there is no known cause of tinnitus.
