Could be side effect: A small % of patients report tinnitus (ringing in the ears) as a side effect of antidepressants, including Zoloft (sertraline). However, there are other potential causes of tinnitus. Recommend discussing with your provider to determine the cause. If you fully suspect this to be a side effect do not stop use of the Zoloft (sertraline) without coordinating with your provider -doing so may cause withdrawal symtoms.
