Get tetanus shot: If possible you should get the tetanus shot on the day of the injury if your last one was more than 10 years ago. If you do not have medical care available today, you should get it ASAP.

You have some time: A booster should be given as soon as possible but you have a couple of days before it would lose its benefit. Close monitoring of the sites and thorough cleaning are a necessary first step.
