Lupus vs. rosacea: Yes, with lupus you should have positive results indicating lupus. Blood work for rosacea would be normal.

Yes and no: There is a phenomena of ANA negative lupus but you have a low ch50 and sjogren's antibodies to meet this treatment. The symptoms that are describing are not consistent with typical lupus. A dermatologist or rheumatologist would be able to distinguish by exam.

Lupus : A positive ANA is found in patients with systemic lupus . A red rash on the nose and checks is common in lupus. In patients with rosacea there is a tendency to flush and blush in addition to having red pimples on the central face.
