Tetanus : It looks like your wound is minor but you're aleady due for a booster shot It should be every 5 years, you should get A Tdap instead of only tetanus shot. So call your Doctor. Good luck.

Yes and no: You are generally considered protected from smaller exposures like you mentioned for ten years after your last boosters.Gardeners and others with heavy exposures (rusty nail, soiled wound) would benefit from a booster at 5 years. This serves as a reminder that any cut can give you tetanus, and a booster now would give you another 5-10 yrs not to woorry about it.
