Should heal quickly: Depends on the size and depth of the cut, but a scratch that is not causing you any problems in the oral cavity can be watched. It should heal fairly quickly (within a few days). Healing can be facilitated by rinsing your mouth after meals, with some dilute warm salt water. If the area should become swollen and tender, see a physician.
