I have anxiety. doc said im fine. but i have sensation saliva is caught somwhere between my throat and chest. is ist dangerous? can it cause dry drown

Anxiety Problems: This sensation is fairly common with anxiety and can be very annoying. I would consider an ENT consult to be sure but try to take the danger out of it. Anxiety is highly related to our thoughts and fears. If you interpret that sensation as choking you will be more anxious.

NO: I do not think that you will drown from your own saliva. If you have anxiety then you ought to get treatment for this. See a therapist or a psychiatrist if you can. Not sure how this all works out in Canada.
