Difficult case: it is a complicated case obviously. first and foremost the infection has to be treated. i would suggest you to follow up with ID and oncologist very closely. importantly is to check if there is certain mutation like T315i mutation as this mutation is resistant to gleevec, sprycel, tasigna (nilotinib) - and should be treated with ponatinib or aurora kinase inhibitor etc. discuss with oncologist.
