A member asked:

What do you suggest if my grandmother has accidently taken three dasatinib tablets for her leukemia instead of two and is worried. does anyone know what she should do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

CALL ONCOLOGIST: First of all call to inform her oncologist and get his opinion. Dasatinib (sprycel) dose is usually 100 mg daily, so I assume she has 50 mg tablets and was taking 2. It would be appropriate to hold tomorrow's dose and then resume treatment. Call her oncologist.
