Liklihood is slim: the likelihood of something like that happening is slim. However, the incubation time is about 2-4 weeks. If you develop pulmonary symptoms or symptoms which are flu like within 2-4 weeks go to the hospital. Why would you think hantavirus? was there a large proportion of people in your area with it? the likelihood is slim.

Look around your hom: to see if any rat droppings are there. It will happen in corners or in your yard. Have a friend/family member look too. Wash your shirt. I am sure you got immunized before going to India. If you got sick while there, go for a checkup to your primary care for a checkup if you suspect something. But your right, if this turns out to be nothing then you might be excessively worrying or paranoid.
