In a viral infection, the virus uses your cells to grow and reproduce, making you ill in the process. Fatigue, fever & muscle aches, affects large muscle groups — thighs, hips, back & shoulders. Also beheadaches, dizziness, chills & abdominal pain & paranoia. But within four to ten days, things get more severe, with patients experiencing shortness of breath and coughing as the lungs fill up with fluid.
