Nerve pain: If this happens occasionally you are likely sleeping on your midarm and causing decreased blood flow. This causes fingers to spasm, pins/needles from compression; this quickly resolves, does not return during day. Happens to people in a deep sleep. If it happens everytime you sleep, then have a doc exam
