Check gallbladder: You should have your primary care provider order an ultrasound of your gallbladder to check for stones or signs of inflammation. If that is normal, you should have a HIDA nuclear scan to check for biliary dyskinesia. If either test is positive, you would likely benefit from a laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
