I am concerned: about ANYONE who would ask that question, and that concern is that you have either alcohol abuse or dependence. You are also on Flagyl, which has an antabuse-like reaction if alcohol is taken with it. You should be asking this question of your doctor, but I strongly suspect you know what that physician would say, and that is why you are asking online. Discuss your drinking with a counselor.

Need alcohol rehab: You need alcohol rehab if you already have problems at age 37. Flagyl will cause an antibuse effect if mixed with alcohol will cause violent vommiting and cause more problems. Seek help now.
