Interesting question: Metastatic endometriosis is a very uncommon condition where endometrial tissue is found in a part of the body other than the reproductive tract. It will still react to hormones on a monthly cycle no matter where it is. Symptoms of thoracic, diaphragmatic, pulmonary endometriosis can be chest pain, shortness of breath, neck or shoulder pain, cough (either dry or coughing blood), etc, monthly.
