Heavens, NO!: Massage is a fantastic way to relieve stress of being a parent to a newborn. There is NOTHING a massage therapist will use topically that will or is harmful to your infant. You do not need to pump and dump - what a waste of that precious milk that would be. Enjoy your massage! There is evidence that massage improves milk production and flow, so go for it! (PS: I'm jealous!)

Lets review your que: Safety of massage and breastfeeding. Most massage treatments do not use any harmful chemicals and would be safe to do while breast feeding. The massage does not involve the nipple area and would be safe for the infant. My concern may be breadt leakage during the massage which should not be a problem as well. After the massage take a shower and all should be well.
