Yes: Many forms of blood testing provide helpful screenings for anemia, white blood cell problems, platelet problems. Other tests are specific for kidney or liver issues. Some blood tests are specifically to check for or rule out some forms of cancer. Please talk with your doctor--have a good history and physical done and have tests done that your doctor feels need to be done.
