Is there any stool test to check for pancreatitis?

Not for acute: pancreatitis. Chronic pancreatitis, leading to pancreatic exocrine deficiency may be detected by stool examination, along with other tests. Acute pancreatitis is best diagnosed with blood test for amylase and lipase.
