Can it be possible that acute pancreatitis can cause bright red blood in stool?

No: Two forms of bleeding appear in the stool. Dark black stool arises from Hgb that is broken down by acid from bleeing high in the GI tract. Bright red bleeding occurs from bleeding in the lower colonic system above or just at the rectum. Bleeding does not arise from pancreatic inflammation or cancer. Hemorrhagic pancreatitis is broken down tissue pouring into the peritoneal cavity and not bowel
