2mo postop cheilectomy, pain in sesamoid area increasing last few wks & big toe turning in & over other toe dr says its normal & thats it is it normal

Not quite sure why the toe is out of alignment. The alternative to a cheilectomy is an implant. These are much improved over the past few years and are quite similar to a knee or hip titanium appliance.
