Ruptured cyst: It is very common for ovarian cysts to rupture, and at that time, you can have abdominal cramping that feels like a period. This is nothing to worry about. If your pain is difficult to bear, however, or if you have a fever, or nausea/vomiting, then see your doctor. Best wishes.
