Hyperthyroid: Hi. There are several kinds of hyperthyroidism, so of which can potentially affect the fetus. You should see an endocrinologist for assessment and management. I would check TSI & TRAb antibodies; they cross the placenta. Your fetus is just making its thyroid now. However, if you need anti-thyroid drugs, they are safe during pregnancy. Good luck!
