Check if you have any other symtoms like fever, urinary incontinence, change in bowel habits, vaginal bleeding even when not having sex, any change in vaginal discharge or any signs of menopause. I would also suggest refraining from sexual activity until you see your Gynaecologist. A Pelvic Ultrasound might help in the diagnosis.
