MRSA: Hello, Good hand washing hygiene is very important if you will be changing the bandages of the wound. If you will not have any contact with the wound then you will be alright. That being said, MRSA is very common and the most important thing is finding the right antibiotic to treat the infection.

Mrsa: yes However do wash your hands whenever you touch her wound and I would also recommend cleaning your bathrooms with Lysol or similar disinfectant. Some authorities will suggest testing yourself and anyone in the home but most are not suggesting that anymore.
