The dose of: zoloft will depend on how the patient responds. Are there side effects? How much have symptoms been reduced? Adults often respond to 50 to 200 mg of zoloft. However, I have seen adults that do well on 25mg and some people may need 300 or 400 mg (off-label dose) of Zoloft.
