Many different meds: Have been successfully used to treat GAD. Even within the class of medication, SSRIs(tells us which type of neurotransmitter is involved) that Zoloft (sertraline) falls, there are other alternatives that may be used. And if that class of medications isn't ideal, there are multiple other different types. Your best bet is to review this with your treating physician, as it helps to be more familiar with you.
