Hi.. my neck hurts all of a sudden with pain similar to whiplash. i've not been involved in any vigorous activity that may lead to this. any thoughts?

Yes: It sounds like you may have sprained your neck. This could have happened while you were moving your head while asleep. Also turning you head very rapidly while awake. A visit to your family physician and/or an osteopathic physician will aid in fixing the problem.
