Whiplash : Whiplash is characterized by symptoms that occur following trauma to the neck, sometimes not presenting for 24 hours. However, people who experience whiplash may develop: neck pain and stiffness, headaches, pain between the shoulder blades, low back pain, pain or numbness in the arm and/or hand, dizziness, and sleep difficulties. Diagnosis to rule out a more serious injury is indicated.
