Likely adenopathy: It is likely an enlarged lymph node, that we call reactive, in response to an infection. Some last for a while. If getting bigger or causing pain let your doctor examine it.

Likely a lymph node: There are normally lymph glands in the proximity to the carotid artery and jugular veins. You normally cannot feel them but they will enlarge with a throat infection. Consult an ENT doctor if you are concerned.
