Been noticing my carotid artery gets big bulgewhen laying flat on back and or when i poop. did have a stint of doing cocaine for awhile (stopped) and quitting cigarettes. feels much different than my left artery at base of neck. how dangerous is this?

Carotid artery: This could be serious given the location. Based on symptom description I would be concerned about an aneurysm. Please be seen by a doctor as soon as possible.
