Carotids don't hurt: Well, they probably do....but we don't believe people can know or identify pain in their neck as coming from their carotid artery as opposed to anything else in there. So, if you're having these symptoms you need to get some throat cultures taken, some bloodwork done, & see a doctor about the pounding in your LEFT NECK...sooner rather than later. In other words get seen tomorrow if you can.
