Followup: sounds like the UTI may not be responsive to the antibiotic she took. Call and see if a urine culture was done, and see if the antibiotic was appropriate.

Go back: Need more information such as urinalysis. If it suggested infection, then a culture may show infection resistant to nitrofurantoin. Is the "incontinence" just urgency with burning or just involuntary leakage. It is best to return to the doctor who prescribed the medicine. Good luck
