You're on the right track with lots of fluids to increase urine flow. Cranberry juice and other cranberry products don't work at all, despite all the beliefs about it you can find online. Take OTC phenazopyridine to reduce urgent and painful urination: look for Pyridium®, Azo® and other brands; a pharmacist can advise you. Good luck.
