Absolutely yes!: CBCT scans are quickly becoming the standard of care in implant dentistry. Even if your dentist don't own one, their are services that are available to assist in interrupting them, fabricating the surgical guides and case design. A simple single implant isn't always straight forward and looking thru the soft tissue prevents problems before they happen. Consider discussing this with your dentist!

CBCT : Dentistry is like any other medical specialty. If doctor needs help understanding CBCT scans, MRI or MRA and have questions about what they see, the imaging is always following radiologists report with findings, discussion and diagnostic impression.
