A few possibilities: There are several types of infections that can cause these symptom.s How long have you had them? If you feel like you can't swallow or are having any trouble breathing, you should go to the emergency room. Otherwise, I would be seen in the next day or two to be evaluated for infection.

A few things: Problems in the throat or tongue area can cause referred pain to the ear. See an ENT doc for examination.
