A member asked:

My mom thinks i've had shots. i'm 39 and went to the doctor quite a bit as a kid, are the odds good that i got the necessary measles immunizations?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely: You could have a simple blood test to show antibodies from either natural disease or the vaccine.Back then, only one dose was given to most kids with about 15% having sub-optimal protection. You could just have another measles vaccine, it wouldn't hurt anything, and might help you avoid the upswing of measles this year in the US.
