Hard to say: Many rash illnesses in childhood were mislabeled by parents. They were encouraged not to come into the docs office where they could expose well patients. This often led to misdiagnosis, but this may have been the real thing. The illness is common in childhood but rare in adults. There are also many rash producing illnesses from other viruses. It has little significance anyway.
